Killfloor Goes Mobile Filed under: Misc., Technology
Tired of spending most of your day in situations where you can’t read Killfloor? Were you ever taking a crap and all of the sudden had an overwhelming urge to find out what the hell to do Saturday night? Your day has finally come, for Killfloor is now available on your mobile phone or PDA. Amazing! You can read all the latest entries by date or by category, and there’s even a nifty feature where you can submit a field report to tell others about a bitchin’ party you’re at or your band’s show (please do not submit a field report about how big your penis is). If the field report thing works out we’ll add a feature to the site where you can view what people send in. |

University of Texas Fashion Show Filed under: Misc.
Austin’s not much of a high-end fashion town; Nordstrom in Barton Creek Mall is probably as good as it gets here. As far as viewing a fashion show, that’s right out. A fashion show in Austin just doesn’t happen (unless all of the clothes are made of hemp or something). But we’ve got news; it does happen. At least it will happen this Friday, April 22 at the Frank Erwin Center as UT students from the Department of Human Ecology’s Division of Textiles and Apparel (we guess that means fashion) show off some pretty clothes. The doors will open for an exhibition at 5pm with the fashion show starting at 8. Is this the beginning of an Austin fashion scene? Probably not, although we could use more supermodels. Fall back, Spring forward Filed under: Misc.
Spring is a time for renewal, among other things. And so Killfloor is born again, and with a new address. And kind of a new layout too. Once again I’ve disabled the comments, but I’ll put them back if enough people request them. Heh heh. |
