Ghostland Observatory CD Release Party

Suitcase.News Flash! You can check out the electronic dance party madness that is Ghostland Observatory at the release party for their new album “delete.delete.i.eat.meat” this Saturday upstairs at the Ritz. Apparently for $10 you get in and you get a copy of the CD. Sweeeeeeeeet. Bring your dancing shoes.
Austinist also has an excellent interview up with the Indierect superstars themselves, link below.

KVRX Prom 2005

Carrie. We just about flipped our shit when we heard that KVRX was going to be throwing a Prom. This is what high-school Prom should have been like. Great music, spiked punch, a professional photographer, special-guest chaperones, and baby blue tuxedos. But the administration always saw to it that none of the above ever went down, so thank you KVRX for making our dreams come true. The Prom is Saturday, May 7 (right after class ends) at Iron Gate Studios at 8pm. Austin’s own self-descriptive dance band Clap! Clap! will be providing tunes, and it will only cost you $5. Better start booking your limo and hotel rooms.
